It’s competition time and readers have the chance to win TWO bottles of a stunning award-winning sparkling rose from the Bird In Hand winery in Australia.
The Best Life Project recently sponsored The Fabulous Fizz – Rest of the World Award at the People’s Choice Drinks Award. The winner – Bird In Hand Sparkling Rose 2020 – out-sparkled some pretty spectacular competition, including the renowned Graham Beck winery.
Bird In Hand is a family-owned winery cultivating cool-climate artisan wines that capture the spirit of South Australia’s Adelaide Hills. The Bird in Hand Foundation supports creativity, gender and indigenous equality through education and the arts.
So now we have TWO bottles of this fab fizz to give away to ONE lucky recipient.
But first let’s tell you all about this amazing wine. It’s a light and delicate Sparkling, salmon pink in colour with floral notes and hints of strawberry and cherry on the nose. Its lively palate evokes flavours of fresh strawberry with a delicate bead, leading to a crisp, clean finish.
Crushed and de-stemmed straight to press with minimal time on skins ensured the extraction of only the lightest of colour. Individual batches from each vineyard were kept separate right up until blending, to guarantee the winemakers could select the best fruit based on flavour, complexity and cohesiveness.
The perfect pre-dinner aperitif or celebratory drink.
This wine is vegan friendly.
