Hello! Thank you, The Best Life Project for asking me all these lovely questions. I am best known as Santa Claus or Father Christmas, although some people call me Kris Kringle and St Nick, too. I am 1,750 years old, which is quite young for an elf and people tell me I don’t look a day over 1,200 – it must be my good beauty regime. I am in the North Pole at the moment getting ready to deliver all the presents the elves have been working hard to make. Remember to go to sleep early tonight!
1. What has been your Best Life Project to date?
My Best Life project? It’s what it always is – delivering Christmas cheer to all people!
2. The unknown … what challenges did you have to overcome?
Well, let me tell you, the switch from chimneys was a bit problematic, but I managed to get a skeleton key from Amazon!
3. In hindsight…..what would you do differently?
Not eat all the mince pies! They are so delicious, but Mrs. Claus then makes me work out for the rest of the year.
4. Next steps?
Well once I have delivered this year’s presents I will take my annual leave of 28 days to relax on a beach, then back to making toys!
5. What lifestyle changes has lockdown made you consider?
I have decided to stay healthier and be mindful that I cant drink eggnog and drive the sleigh . . . . again
6. Kissing frogs …. is there an unexpected person who has helped you and, if so, how did they do it?
Well Hank, The Best Life Project’s Drinks Editor, has helped no end by giving the elves cameos in his cocktail films so they can earn some extra money
7. My Inspiration ….who or what inspires you?
My inspiration is simple, the laughter and glee from everyone around the world on Christmas Day.
8. How do you relax or do you struggle to relax?
Struggle? I don’t know the meaning of the word! I only work hard one day a year!
9. Guilty secret pleasure?
Well, I like to sing Disney songs in the bath.
10. Words of wisdom
Live, Laugh. . . wait that’s been done. . .Live long and pro. . . no, no that’s Star Trek. Wait! I have it… Ho Ho Ho!
