Lockdown has been a tough time for singles who have been relying on dating apps and FaceTime to keep love alive.
But Hellosolo, an exciting new tech startup, is doing things a little differently as a destination site for singles to book events and discover new services.
Founder Charlie Spokes, who has a successful singles event company, spotted the opportunity for a web-based event booking business that enables love seekers to discover a wide range of events around food, drinks, physical or intellectual activity.
Charlie realised she could solve some of the biggest headaches a singles event organiser faces by building a platform that could handle the distribution of tickets (managing male/female numbers for straight events) and enabling matching singles to connect post event.
Hellosolo is also aimed at singles event organisers and dating service providers who want to reach their market and take advantage of the technology to make running their events or providing their services that bit easier.
It lists events from a broad range of singles events organisers meaning users can find not simply events but the experiences they want as well as find the specific dating services such as coaches, photography and profile writers that they need to really make the most of their dating adventures.
So, in readiness for the easing of lockdown, The Best Life Project’s Drinks Editor Hank Hughes-Lundy will be hosting a series of themed cocktail mixing evenings guaranteed to delight the unattached.
He’s offering FOUR free tickets to readers of The Best Life Project and a 20 per cent discount to all readers buying a ticket who quote BESTIE01 at checkout.
Says Hank: “I’ll be demonstrating how to make some fantastic cocktails which look and taste amazing, but are a breeze to prepare. So put on your best dress or suit and let’s get shaking. We will be starting at 8pm on each evening and the event will run for two hours during which we’ll be making four cocktails. An ingredient shopping list will be sent out to ticket holders before the event date. Don’t miss out, it’ll be the most fun you’ll find on a screen during lockdown and you’ll get to meet other dedicated cocktail-drinking singles.”
Hank will be running eight cocktail making classes between April to July. To buy your tickets, click HERE and don’t forget to quote BESTIE01 for a 20 per cent discount.
To claim one of four FREE tickets write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us why you or a friend deserves to find love.
