1. What has been your Best Life Project to date?

Apart from having my children which has been the ultimate project, I would say the complete turnaround of who I was 14 years ago. I am now someone who has a voice, confidence in my abilities and the joy of sharing my knowledge to help others.

2. The unknown … what challenges did you have to overcome?

Not being taken seriously – mostly by men. Juggling – I had two young children when I started my first business. When you work for yourself you see the true nature of others and it’s made me less trusting.

3. In hindsight…..what would you do differently?

Nothing. I believe I have a path which I am still walking and everything I have experienced has been for a reason. I will say though that I wish I didn’t overthink so much!

4. Next steps?

I’ve just become a non executive director and consultant for a growth and innovation agency called Alt Theory.

5. What lifestyle changes has lockdown made you consider?

I need to drink less wine….! I’ve found the whole experience really painful and as a very social person it’s been difficult not being able to do just that.

6. Is there an unexpected person who has helped you and, if so, how did they do it?

I have a incredible friend and unofficial mentor called Vikas Shah who is my go to. He listens, he gives feedback, he doesn’t judge me.

7. My Inspiration ….who or what inspires you?

I help people with ideas and it never ceases to amaze me what things can grow out of a seedling of an idea.

8. How do you relax or do you struggle to relax?

I struggle to relax. I am that annoying person who will talk through a massage. I do love a nap though.

9. Guilty secret pleasure?

I have this weird thing….I am obsessed with cash registers and every time I go to Costco the first thing I do is press the buttons on the ones that are for sale..!

10. Words of wisdom

You never stop learning. Be kind to yourself. Get out of your comfort zone once in a while. Get a mentor.
